During a convention, my good friend Mr X Stitch gave me a square of glow-in-the-dark aida by Sew It All, with a challenge to make something special with it. Well, I had a whole host of ideas from fantastic to whimsy, but with a recent playthrough of Bioshock Infinite, I realized that the Vigor posters had certain magic of their own. What’s the best way to sell near-magical powers? With a glowing poster!
I’ve used a combination of simple black and white threads, with a glow in the dark white thread to create an image that not only works in the light but really pops in low-level light.
I’m pretty sure I did a good job Mr X Stitch!
