I just fell in love with this pattern as soon as I saw it. Its simplicity, and how it looks back at the traditional sampler (Which before this I hadn’t yet done) yet plays on the pallet town pokemon reference. I knew I had to stitch it, and I also knew it wouldn’t take long. I was slightly delayed however when I started stitching my christmas pokemon half way through it.

It’s Christmas! I have fond memories of Christmas TV when I was a kid, and what really stands out was the Pokemon Christmas specials. I wanted to do something Christmasy and asked ristvak to do a few patterns for me, so I could make some cross stitch Pokemon baubles.

VIEW WITH RED/BLUE 3D GLASSES FOR FULL EFFECT!
After seeing a piece on Mr X Stitch I fell in love with the idea of doing a stereoscopic stitch. You have to wear red blue glasses to see the 3D, but hostly I think the image without is just a nice looking.
