DMC Thread Inventory Spreadsheet – Updated

Everyone loves a good collection of threads, but unless you have the whole set of DMC threads you’re going to need a way to keep track of what you have, and haven’t got. That’s why we created this awesome colored spreadsheet of all standard, metallic, variations, variegated, Coloris and Étoile 6 strand DMC threads, so you can keep track.
Just click the link or image and save the spreadsheet. You can access it on your computer, phone, or put it through googledocs!

  1. OMG, this is amazing!!!
Thanks a lot for all the effort and work this must have meant for you.

  2. Hi
Seems that both link and direct download excel link are not working. Any chance you can fix those. Thanks In advance

  3. First off….thank you for this chart! As a “manbroiderer”/collector this chart has been invaluable.

One thing to note. You are missing discontinued metallic #5291 Royal Blue on the chart.

Finally, I’ve been a collector of new and vintage embroidery threads for years. Until this chart, I thought that my original collection of DMC floss was intact/complete. However, I am missing 2 (DMC #868, Hazel Nut Brown and DMC #116 Variegated Cyclamen Pink). I keep haunting yard sales, estate sales/auctions and thrift stores hoping to someday find these, but as of yet I have had no luck. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts on where I could pick up a skein of each I’d love to know!

  4. I have the Rayon Range Color chart with the actual threads. Let me know if you want a scan to add it to the list
With the Light Effects are the classical blends and multi blends still in production?

    1. The light effects classical blends and multi blends are now just called “metallics” and they can be very hard to find dependant on where you live. Officially I think they may be in production still, but many are sold only in the USA (due to less stringent dye regulations).
Do you have the old-school rayon range chart with numbers with the five-digit 3XXXX numbers? We’d love a scan if you have one! We know of most of the numbers but we’re struggling to work out if we have them all!

  5. My version of Excel is REALLY old. Is there any way you could send me a copy of this in the lowest version possible?

  6. I need 16 colors of DMC 6 strand floss and they are no where – not even on your discontinued list. HELP!
