      Hi!
It sounds like your Excel has opened it in “protected View”. Is there a yellow bar at the top under your “file”, “edit” & “Home”?
This happens when files are downloaded from the internet sometimes. You need to select “Enable Editing”.
      Hope that helps!

Hmm… I’ve checked the file for download and it’s working correctly, so it’s probably something to do with your excel settings. I’ve sent you an email, we’ll work out what’s wrong!

OK, perhaps I need a little instruction …. I downloaded the spreadsheet and tested with a bobbin that i had on my desk. I entered, saved and then searched. it came up as zero. I closed the spreadsheet, saving, and then reopened and searched again. and again, zero
    Help!!

Hey! This could be for a whole bunch of different reasons, and most are involving the program you’re choosing to open it with. However, can I just make sure you’re adding the “1” to the main body of the cell, and not the search part?
Can I also make sure you’re searching on the same spreadsheet as you’re adding the bobbin to?
