I was just about to start making my own spreadsheet to track my threads after too many projects checking the same sewing box over and over again – so glad my search for an online thread list to start from instead brought me to this page! You’ve saved me hours of work and made something so much better than I would have come up with – thank you!

I was getting ready to spend $75 on Cosmo thread for a project. I already have tons of DMC thread – somehow got this idea that DMC was not very good thread (not color fast, or a quality thread I would put into a quilt with a lot of hand embroidery). Was having trouble finding all the Cosmo colors I would need and thought maybe I could treat the DMC thread to not bleed as bad. After researching DMC thread – Ha, DMC thread is colorfast, and the quality seems to be there as well. I have decided not spend money on thread I already own. Was looking for current DMC colors when I can across your site. Your information and spread sheets will help me so much. I am so thankful for you sharing your talents!

The site and etsy listing both say it includes discontinued variations threads, but I’m not seeing them on the inventory list. Am I blind?

Just before their discontinuation DMC called them “variegated” instead, and we’ve marked them on our spreadsheet as such. You can find them in columns BJ to BM.

AHA. So I am just blind. 😛 Now to shift everything around. Thank you!
