Free Epic Pokemon All Generations Cross Stitch Pattern – Updated

epic pokemon all generations cross stitch
This is the big one. The most outrageous and insanely huge pattern I’ve found anywhere on the internet. It’s a combination of the first 5 generations of Pokemon, using generation 5 sprites. It’s basically a combination of the separate 5 epic pokemon generations cross stitch patterns we posted last week.
It’s a massive 798,000 stitches, with the finished piece well over a meter wide and tall on 14 count (almost 1.5m x 2m). If you attempt it, I salute you!

Stitch Count: 798w x 1000h
Finished Size: 57″ x 71.5″ or 145cm x 182cm (14ct)
Number of colors: 234 (DMC)

A few people have requested both color and black and white versions of the pattern. I’m working of this currently, however, due to its size the program keeps crashing…

Thinking of tackling this epic cross stitch? We have some great guides like where to find super large aida, how to tackle epic cross stitches, cross stitch gridding techniques and how to keep up motivation when tackling epic cross stitches.

Lastly, we have a few updates from people still stitching the pattern. First off we have Leona Walker who has managed to complete the whole thing in only 6 years! Kudos on how awesome this looks! We can’t wait for the first-ever finish!

Secondly we have the mother of Reddit user HerenJames who completed the pattern in 8 years!

    Dear Libidan,

I absolutely love the pattern. I just wanted to let you know that all the files are now fully supported in PatternKeeper. Did not know if you were already aware of that. You need to fill in all the colors by hand, but that does not take very long.
Thanks for all the great content.

Hi, can you advise where to get a big piece of Aida to complete this project? Thanks.

Hey so i noticed on the patterns the colour charts, middle rows second last colour number is doubled and really hard to read, was wondering what those colours are?

    1. LordLibidan

Yeh, it’s due to it being so large!
      It’s 3756

Hello, does it matter if the top left black and white has 62 pages and color have 72 pages? Is there an alternative version where both sides have equal pages? Just asking because I print and pair up color with no color while stitching. The mismatch pages throws me off a bit.

    1. LordLibidan

No difference. They were processed at a different time, and the program we use changed how it makes them.

Hey, so I was wondering if you think it’s worth doing this on black aida, being that the background seems to be quite dark?

I personally think it would look great on black aida, but I know most people try to avoid black where possible. 😀
