Whilst I love cross stitch, when I was first starting out, I didn’t know if I loved cross stitch specifically or all embroidery. So when I saw a design from BigRedJake, devoted to a combination of Pokemon and TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), I fell in love. And I knew I had to try embroidery.
However, as a starter in the world of embroidery, I didn’t go too crazy, and only did outlines, rather than filling in the details. I liked it, but I didn’t like it as much as cross stitch, so it took me a whole three years before I tried my hand at embroidery again, with my Fallout 3 VATS embroidery. And this style of outlines only really sparked an embroidery style in me, which morphed into embroidery blueprints.
