    That’s all in cm?

      Hi Samantha,
Were you looking for the measurements in inches?
The “normal” version is 18.3″ x 32.1″ on 14 count.

Hello! I’ve started doing the extended 1st generation pokemon. I’m at the beginning and am at Moltres. There’s a symbol I can’t find on the index. It’s red with a white dot near the bottom left corner. What color DMC thread do I use for that?

    1. LordLibidan

Hey! It’s 349. The files are so large that the program making the patterns got confused and sometimes switches up the colour of the symbol from white to black or black to white. Its on a few others as well I’m afraid.

Hi! I was wondering if it’s possible if not already made to make a shiny version of gen 1? I think they would look amazing side by side!

    1. LordLibidan

A few people have asked. It’s not on our roadmap right now, but we are considering it…

    Hi,

I’m thinking of starting these as my re-introduction to stitching! What is the difference between the Gen 1 and the Gen 1 extended? And do you have a calculator to work out how much of each DMC thread you need?

    Thank you!

    1. LordLibidan

      Hey Kerrie!
Brave project to get you back into stitching!
The difference between the “normal” versions and the “extended” versions is a 1 inch space around the end. On the “normal” version pokemon are cut off, but the extended includes their full sprites. You can see both versions stitched on our epic pokemon pattern gallery.
And we also have a skein calculator as well!

Hi, I’m about to embark on gen 1 extended and am slightly confused. On the pattern, it says on 18ct Aida it will be 84.4 x 133.4 cm when finished, however, when using your cross-stitch calculator it says that a pattern with those stitches would only be 53.6 x 78.3 with a 5cm border. These numbers are very different and I’m not sure what size to cut my fabric to. Do you know why these numbers are so different? Am I reading something wrong somewhere? Thanks 🙂

    1. LordLibidan

      Hey!
      It would indeed be 53.6 x 78.3 with a 5cm border on 18ct.
We’re aware of the weird measurements on the pattern, we’re trying to get those fixed. Sorry for the confusion!
