I’ve made a lot of cross stitch blueprints in the past, and you may be aware I sell some of these on my Etsy store too. However despite having all three of my space-based blueprints (my Saturn V blueprint cross stitch, Space Shuttle blueprint cross stitch & SpaceX Falcon 9 and Dragon blueprint cross stitch), I’ve never had a SpaceX Starship.
And this was on purpose.
You see, despite having the super heavy, I’ve always stayed clear of the Starship. The problem is that it changes oh so much. As the ship is still in development, its design has changed heavily since it first got announced, with a new shape, new fins, different interior, new engines, etc. So if I had made a design before this, it would have been quickly outdated.
But when I was contacted recently by a fan about making a pattern for her boyfriend; who was I to say no?
The ship is still in development, but it has passed its major hurdles, and the overall design should stay relatively the same until it is fully launched with astronauts. So I finally put the design down on aida.
As with all my blueprint designs, they’re accurate, with the correct size, design elements, and even the codes at the bottom, but there are also some little secrets in there, which I won’t spoil for you!
I think it looks great next to the other designs too, but I think for now, there aren’t any other ships to make blueprints for… other than maybe Soyuz…
