I need help I can’t figure out what color one of mine are and I it fell off the card so I don’t know the dmc
Great chart!!! My search was for a FREE PRINTABLE DMC color chart – this one is free but no way is it printable!!!
Hi, I have a few strands DMC of a pinkes color with number 896. Couldn’t find it on the chart. Do you have information about it?
As far as I’m aware, there was no 896 or 968 (DMC avoided numbers that could be read differently upside-down). If it’s a really light pink, I think it’ll be an Anchor thread 968.
It has both labels on it, one with the DMC logo and the other with a number. The are probably very old (herritage from aunt). I would upload a picture if I could.
Hi there- I have been trying to open the DMC threads colour shade chart but it is not allowing me to do so and taking me to a site which states ‘it doesn’t exist’?
Are you able to advise as I would love to be able to have a copy….many thanks
Ah, broken link; fixed!
If you just click the image, it should load up for you.
Hello – I love all your charts and am slowly working a new embroidery stitch every day and at the same time working through the charts. It looks amazing. I am currently on column 6. In a separate project, DMC thread 137 is given in the list of threads needed but I can’t find it anywhere – or trace what happened to it. Can you please enlighten me and suggest a substitution. Many thanks.
I’m afraid there has never been a 6 strand DMC 137.
However, there has been a 137 from a brand called Luca. Its closest to DMC’s 341.
Alternatively, the kit could be using wool. There is a 137 DMC for wool, which is very new (released in 2024 I think).
If you can give us the pattern name I can look into what its most likely to be!
Sorry for my slow response – and thank you for yours. I contacted the designer – in New Zealand – she had simply listed the wrong number. Problem sorted – thank you.
