Free Epic Pokemon All Generations Cross Stitch Pattern – Updated

epic pokemon all generations cross stitch
This is the big one. The most outrageous and insanely huge pattern I’ve found anywhere on the internet. It’s a combination of the first 5 generations of Pokemon, using generation 5 sprites. It’s basically a combination of the separate 5 epic pokemon generations cross stitch patterns we posted last week.
It’s a massive 798,000 stitches, with the finished piece well over a meter wide and tall on 14 count (almost 1.5m x 2m). If you attempt it, I salute you!

Stitch Count: 798w x 1000h
Finished Size: 57″ x 71.5″ or 145cm x 182cm (14ct)
Number of colors: 234 (DMC)

A few people have requested both color and black and white versions of the pattern. I’m working of this currently, however, due to its size the program keeps crashing…

Thinking of tackling this epic cross stitch? We have some great guides like where to find super large aida, how to tackle epic cross stitches, cross stitch gridding techniques and how to keep up motivation when tackling epic cross stitches.

Lastly, we have a few updates from people still stitching the pattern. First off we have Leona Walker who has managed to complete the whole thing in only 6 years! Kudos on how awesome this looks! We can’t wait for the first-ever finish!

Hello, I am back. I found fabric the size I needed and will be ordering it next month. You are right this project will take time to do and I am willing to commit the time. I also have made a list of the threads and amounts I will need based on the aida count fabric I am using. Also, on the number of threads I will be using as well, I am learning so much just planning everything. I just need to find a cheap DMC floss site and I will start ordering the floss. Are you going to make all the charts in black and white or just the two?

      Hey!
There’s an issue with their size which means exporting in B&W is a problem. I’m speaking to the program coder to see if anything can be done.
Good luck on the stitch, and keep us updated 😀

Can you tell me where you found that fabric? I can’t find anything over 60″ (1.5 m) wide. The pattern itself is 57″ inches wide, so there’s no way that’s enough border for framing.

OMG !! This is AMAZING .. it’s not just a project, it’s a life time accomplishment loll … I’m currently doing a Zelda Stained Galss (286 x 426). I’m at only 10% done and it’s been exactly 1 year and 1 month that i’m working on it … I-five to the crafter who will finish this one. Very impressive !!!! 🙂

Hi! I am going to start this pattern soon. I was wondering which chart to start on. I’m a little overwhelmed and I was wondering if there was a good method to follow when working through these?

It depends what type of frame you use. Based on size I would suggest a scroll frame, in which case, I would do the top ‘row’ of pages in the top left and right sections. Then work down in long sideways strips, a page at a time.

I really want to do this for my Fiancé on our anniversary!! but i want to do it on 18 count what size aida would I need for it?

    1. LordLibidan

Hey! The stitch area would be 44 by 55 inches, so I would suggest at least 50 by 60 inches.
Hope you have fun stitching it!

Where can I find the cloth for this also how much border do you suggest for the project?

You can contact your prefered cross stitch supplier, who should be able to help you, or go to a fabric store, which usually hold very large aida in stock.
In regards to the border, it depends on which frame you intend to use, however I personally use 4 inches on projects this large.
