Before I start my next big project (which I’ve been putting off for more than a year!) I decided to stitch something smallish up following my completion of my gaming cross stitch trading cards, and I also happened to be replaying some games on my Steam library, and came across Papers, Please.
It’s a game from an indie developer, and in 2013, it took the internet over with its dystopian Eastern European vibe.
The game is about being a border guard, accepting or rejecting visas into your country, as in the background, your country goes through turmoil and upheaval.
It’s truly a great game. If you haven’t played it, go play it now!
But for the cross stitch of Papers, Please, I decided to stitch up some denial paperwork which appears about halfway through the game. This is the point where things start getting interesting, and you have to decide if you’ll let people in, despite not having the proper paperwork.
