Following a few cross stitched iPhone covers last year, I found a higher count version. I found a whole load of awesome stuff online that other people had done, but I couldn’t come up with anything myself.
Then, as random luck would have it, my friend BlackMageHeart mentioned dragons. And 3 days later, it was stitched!

I started my embroidery journey with a cross stitch. Then I moved away from it to using other, different stitches and I still love creating those.
This page though, THIS page has made me decide to go back to cross stitching and that cross eyed feeling that comes with it … constantly counting, re-counting and re-counting again before stitching and then checking that you’ve got it right.
I cannot wait now to finish the project I’ve got and start a cross stitch. Maybe, just maybe I might even put my current project aside and start just a small cross stitch. Since I also LOVE reading maybe that super cute bookmark…
