That’s why we created this awesome colored spreadsheet of all standard, metallic, variations, variegated, Coloris and Étoile 6 strand DMC threads, so you can keep track.

I opened the spreadsheet in excel and it says the sheet is protected, is there a password i have to put in to unlock it?

    1. LordLibidan

If you want to edit parts and not just add the thread numbers, you can find the password on the first sheet. It changes by version.

Is there a way to get the Alphabets and numerical patterns mailed to me instead of downloading them. My tablet is almost completely full and it won’t let me download anything else. I’ve gone through and deleted everything possible but it’s still not enough open storage to download things.
Thank you so much for the color charts with the color name and number. That has taken up a lot. I haven’t embroidered anything since my teenage years. I tried my hand at cross stitching in my mid 20’s, but I had 2 very young daughters then and I didn’t have time to do much. I am trying both again now that I’m a senior citizen.

What do the asterisks mean on the sheet?

    1. LordLibidan

Depending on where you are in the world, these threads can be hard to find, but are still in production.

Can you explain how to use the availability checker please

    1. LordLibidan

Sure! Once you’ve added your threads into the spreadsheet, head over to the availability checker sheet.
If you prefer to store your threads by number order, use the table on the left. If you prefer to store your threads by color, use the table on the right.
Then simply add in the thread number and skeins needed in the yellow cells, and it will tell you if you have any, and how many you need.
