Free Epic Pokemon All Generations Cross Stitch Pattern – Updated

epic pokemon all generations cross stitch
This is the big one. The most outrageous and insanely huge pattern I’ve found anywhere on the internet. It’s a combination of the first 5 generations of Pokemon, using generation 5 sprites. It’s basically a combination of the separate 5 epic pokemon generations cross stitch patterns we posted last week.
It’s a massive 798,000 stitches, with the finished piece well over a meter wide and tall on 14 count (almost 1.5m x 2m). If you attempt it, I salute you!

Stitch Count: 798w x 1000h
Finished Size: 57″ x 71.5″ or 145cm x 182cm (14ct)
Number of colors: 234 (DMC)

A few people have requested both color and black and white versions of the pattern. I’m working of this currently, however, due to its size the program keeps crashing…

Thinking of tackling this epic cross stitch? We have some great guides like where to find super large aida, how to tackle epic cross stitches, cross stitch gridding techniques and how to keep up motivation when tackling epic cross stitches.

Lastly, we have a few updates from people still stitching the pattern. First off we have Leona Walker who has managed to complete the whole thing in only 6 years! Kudos on how awesome this looks! We can’t wait for the first-ever finish!

Hi, started this a couple a days ago, and now their seems to be some mistakes in the links for the different parts of the patterns. Just wanted to let you, and thanks for making this!

      Oops! All fixed.
And while I would love to take credit for the pattern, it was originally made by Nimby on the SpriteStitch forums.

Hi I’m working on the bottom right and I notice there is no difference between h I j on the chart and some of the white boxes are blank so I don’t know what to use

      Hi there,
The program was REALLY pushed when it was making it, so it did some weird things. One of those is that is sometimes makes the letters appear in white, when they should actually be in black. I spoke to Jeff (program creator) and he advised me that the white text comes in the same color as B5200. But, don’t worry! Generally the rule is “j” or B5200. But in some cases, like page 31 you can see blocks of “i”. I would use color “i” (BLANC) here.
If you look on page 37 you can also see that some of the other colors have this too (like “a”) but are easier to see.
Sorry I couldn’t give you a firm answer! Sadly the original conversion files have been lost to time so I can’t even reproduce them.

Hi! I love this so much but I would love to have all the patterns in b&w. Any chance that you have the two that are here in color as black and white? Thanks!

I see that you were having issues making the entire pattern PDF in color. Do you have the patterns themselves in a stitch program format instead of PDF?

      Hi there,
We do, but sadly they’re so unstable sending them over email fries them. We’re in talks with the program creator and we’re getting somewhere (all be it slowly).
      Thanks though!

So I’ve really wanted to start this but after looking over the details of each section the symbols and their colors don’t match each other. EX: take the top right and left. The symbol for color 3371 isn’t the same and this discrepancy is frequent enough between the four sections to cause concern. I’m afraid to invest the time and money into this without knowing for sure that this isn’t an error of some kind.

      Hi,
The size of the pattern meant that it had to be split up to fit into each ‘section’. The colors match up, however the symbols are different between all of the pdfs.

Thank you! I’ll give it a shot.
