Everyone loves a good collection of threads, but unless you have the whole set of DMC threads you’re going to need a way to keep track of what you have, and haven’t got. That’s why we created this awesome colored spreadsheet of all standard, metallic, variations, variegated, Coloris and Étoile 6 strand DMC threads, so you can keep track.

Just click the link or image and save the spreadsheet. You can access it on your computer, phone, or put it through googledocs!

This is fantastic, thank you! I have the old version, would a simple copy and paste if the data I’m the mainDMC Thread tab work?

    1. LordLibidan

Do you know what version you currently have?
It could be as simple as copy and paste, but I want to make sure first!

Thanks for replying! I have the version from July 2022, version: 14.4.5

On both sheets, there is a hidden sheet called “Sheet 1”.
Copy everything in that sheet and paste it into the new one. It should all work perfectly!

Thank you, I’m beyond grateful for the spreadsheet. Since the pandemic I began stitching again and buying lots of threads from eBay and social media marketplaces and have a nice collection of all types but could next afford to splurge for the full set at once. I lost my original download and returned with the idea to pull the threads needed for a pattern and put in one spreadsheet for easier finding and pulling skeins. Eventually I’ll inventory it all too. Anyway thank you again, your work is greatly appreciated.

I downloaded the DMC Thread chart in my Apple Numbers spreadsheet and when I enter in the total number of skeins it doesn’t carry over to the Color Code chart. I’m thinking this chart only works for Excel program??

    1. LordLibidan

This should still work in Apple Numbers!
Can you tell me which sheet you are entering the skein in (and which cell) and tell me which sheet and cell you’re expecting to see it in?

I am going to deposit money so I can buy you a coffee. (I’m operating in cash at the moment) This is a game changer for me!!

Are you able to write in the spreadsheet? I can’t seem to be able to print one are write on the spreadsheet

It could be that your device is not letting you edit it (common on phones). Do you get a message about permissions?
